I've worked out that I need to aim for about 1200kCal per day (depending on exercise) so plan to have
* an oat/milk-based breakfast (250kCal) or, occasionally, 2 scoops Huel (300kCal),
* 2 scoops Huel with water for lunch
leaving about 600kCal for drinks, snacks (if needed) and a "normal" evening meal (or 3 scoops Huel if feeling lazy/busy)
Does that sound like a reasonable plan? Any advice on home-made flavourings without adding too many calories (I was thinking chocolate powder, bouillon, even a little tomato paste).
