We placed our first Huel order four months ago to the day and haven’t looked back since then. We being the wife and I.
There was an initial plan around replacing our evening meals Mon-Thurs with Huel and our daytime meals Fri-Sun so we could still balance eating a regular meal. This worked for the first 6 weeks or so but with both of us leading busy lives with work and exercise it’s become a much more fluid thing and really tends to fit in around life without taking over.
Over the four months we have both lost around half a stone each, without particularly trying. Mainly we put this down to our bad portion control with meals. We’ve both also noticed significant improvements in body shape and muscle mass.
We’d both like to lose another half stone but the time frame is open and we’d rather lose in a sustainable manner.
The key to Huel in our eyes is to be realistic, don’t be over ambitious, don’t let it dominate your life if you don’t want to.
One word of warning … you will find yourself preaching about Huel to friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who will listen and explaining ‘complete nutrition’ not ‘protein shake’
