I’ve been going crazy trying to figure out why I’ve been constantly getting rashes non stop for weeks! I have been getting progressively worse and couldn’t figure out the culprit. I have a few autoimmune conditions so I went down the list. First, I thought there was mold at work because I was working in a dingy basement and I got so sick that I left my job two weeks ago. When the rashes continued at home, I discovered that my air conditioner coils were very dirty and the unit hasn’t been serviced and probably 22 years. I closed all my vents got some portable air conditioners and after about 48 hours, my rash started clearing up. This evening I made my HUEL shake. Within minutes of finishing it I broke out in hives everywhere and immediately had to use the bathroom. Then I realized I didn’t have a HUEL shake yesterday. I was drinking one daily. I was so happy all day today that I was finally getting better. Then I googled if other people were having this issue and lo and behold you shouldn’t be drinking this if you have a nickel allergy.i do! It was randomly discovered on an allergy panel years ago, but it never really affected me before in anyway until now! I’m really bummed because I love the flavor, but it’s not literally to die for. There must be an extremely high amount of nickel in the second bag that showed up at my door because I’ve been reacting way worse than I did with my first order.

I am so sorry about this. You’ve done the right thing to do the process of eliminating problems. When it comes to a high level of nickel in Huel I think this is highly unlikely but I still want to make sure we’re taking the right course of action.
