Granola disappeared shortly after I started using Huel powder and I didn’t have a chance to try it. I wanted to check it out at some point but I can’t say I particularly miss it because I don’t even know how it tasted. Recently we lost flavour boosts. I was using them at first but later I found out my two favourite Huel flavours: chocolate and salted caramel. They are great on their own so I haven’t bought flavour boosts for a long time. But now I’m starting to worry. From what I’ve seen over the years original bars seem to be controversial, many people don’t like their taste. On Huel website under “Free shipping. Free T‑shirt. Free time.” text original bars are missing and all other Huel products are there. Recently I got an email about available chocolate flavours. There was RTD, black powder, original powder, protein bar. And again, original bar was missing. I’m looking at the bar order page right now and coffee caramel flavour is ‘temporarily’ out of stock. Are we being prepared to say goodbye to the bars? Are we on the verge of the apocalypse? Should I build an underground shelter and fill it up with the bars so that once the world plunges into no bar chaos, I’ll survive? Is the Earth flat? I have so many questions and no answers to any of them (ok, maybe except for the last one). @Tim_Huel I know you loved granola, please stop this madness. You are the only one who can save the original bars (and the whole world)! ---

If the “white” bar range is discontinued I will personally cut the ropes on Tim’s hammock. On a serious note I’d be shocked if these get discontinued. The bars are a core product, whereas granola was less mass appeal and flavour boosts have become somewhat redundant due to the move to premixed flavours. ---

STOP THIS MADNESS! No madness happening here! We love the bars, and although we are always looking to improve our ranges I can’t see the bars being discontinued in the same way granola was. I obviously would hate to say “never”, because we honestly can’t see into the future, but right now we don’t have plans to stop making our Bars! ---

@Tim_Huel hi Tim, nice to see your still around. You are missed by some of us. Glad to see there will be a bar or something replacement. I always have bars in my bag as quite often when out for a coffee there is no snack/food option available for me. I just have my huel bar and nobody has ever challenged me. 😄😊 ---

Surely if the “something to replace our bars” isn’t more bars, bars have been removed outright? I will not vote for you ever again! Personally I won’t miss bars because they were too expensive, whereas I miss granola every single day. So I hope the new thing is cheap AF, like maybe use the old granola recipe but glue it into a bar shape. ---

He said they have big bar plans…so I think they are gonna be the size of house bricks and give you 2000k per bar for these pesky OMADers. ---

Might be getting confused between jumbo bar requests and also the person who requested vac-pac bricks of Huel powder, Scarface style. I suppose they have data scientists, business analysts and other professionals doing research on how the market “ticks” and how to maximize sales, determining the nature of the demand of an abstract minority of customers. They have their reasons why they update their product portfolio. My impression is that they have been putting to much emphasis on attracting new customers, though, and given not enough attention to the needs of long term customers. But I admit that I don’t know which type of customer leads to the highest sales numbers. But I guess they have their reasons for changes. Whatever they may be… ---

I’ve been a regular bar consumer since they were first launched, at least 1 a day on average, and I like the current chocolate bar recipe, but I can see the average Joe finding the Grenade bar recipe and flavours much more delicious than Huel’s offering. If Huel can create something along those lines without straying too far from “nutrition first” it’ll be well received by the masses. ---

I have a box of peanut bars each month on my order. The bars are definitely an aquired taste. Hope next will be nicer. 😜 ---
