Huel Daily Greens - how make if tastier

Any ideas to make it tastier and not to interfere with asborption? I thought about fresh orange juice but maybe you he your own recipies?

Took the words right out my mouth!

Juices are a great way to make it better if you are struggling with the taste. Personally, I love pineapple juice but this is completely up to you.

Thank you @Mark_Huel What about mixing it with other Huel products?

I mean it’s not something I’ve done before. What sort of product was you thinking?

Mix with powders?

I ordered the daily greens cans a couple of months back and they were disgusting. Initially. But we had hot weather and I needed a cold drink and one can was in the fridge, and I poured it over ice. It was an improvement because the coldness numbed the taste! Still gross, but the ice helped.

This is what I do. My usual weekday breakfast is Huel original + cacao powder + daily greens in one shake.

When I used to have daily greens separately, I made it with much less water, around 100ml from memory, and then downed it like a shot. Now I’d rather have it in with my breakfast so I haven’t got to do it separately later in the day.

It doesn’t improve the taste of my breakfast but I prefer the convivence of it.

Thanks! So one thing is taste other value of the meal offers:) I though also about making my own energy bars with huel powders but with greens I am affraid that backing would affect the vitamins

Cold water and letting it sit in the fridge for a bit makes a big difference, the flavor rounds out and it’s less chalky. A squeeze of lemon or lime works well without much sugar. If you want fruit, a few frozen berries blended in are better than orange juice, which can be a lot of sugar and doesn’t really help absorption anyway.

thanks, that’s a bunch of good ideas to check. Will do!

Good tips, the fridge rest is one I always skip but it really does smooth out that chalky edge when you give it time. Lemon or lime is a great shout too, brightens it up without loading on sugar. And you’re right about frozen berries beating orange juice, way less sugar and blended in they actually make it feel like a treat. OJ never sat right with me anyway. Going to try the cold-and-rest method next batch, thanks.
