Huel for a dyslexic and dyspraxic

Hi, I’ve been using Huel for a few months now. Being dyslexic and dyspraxic I use alot of energy in a normal day, I was struggling to get the calories and nutrition I needed from a sandwich or something like that for lunch. So after alot of research I found Huel. It is perfect for me, I get all the necessary nutrition aswell as 500 calories for lunch with no rubbish like bread. I have porridge for breakfast, and a healthy dinner. Feel a million times better on Huel.

That’s bizarre. I’ve got three children with special needs, dyslexia and dyspraxia among them. For some reason it never occurred to me that it would use extra energy. Of course it would explain why my littlest is so skinny!

I worked out that on an average day, I burn between 3000 and 4000 cals, I do alot of walking for my job, and now with a 7 week old baby it’s non stop. There is no actual research into special needs and diet, but from experience and living with dyspraxic the extra effort to balance and just move normally is massive. Hule has made a massive difference to me, shame it took 33 years to find

@AndyR that is great to hear, I’m so glad we could help. My little boy has dyspraxia.

I’m not dyspraxic but I have proprioception issues and I’m hypermobile. The guys here can’t understand how I use so many calories - I guess now we know! yumm, pass the chocolate
