I think I should just leave a comment saying how much I like the protein bars!!! I only just discovered them now! I was a big fan of the other bars, but these are just perfect for my breakfast now as I needed to up my protein intake! Really happy with them!! ---

I’ve been purchasing more and more products to keep the interest in Huel, now into my 4th week of this programme. Most H&S have been good, I’m happy with the variety (although look forward to some more flavours). Only tried the Coffee/Caramel and the Strawberry shakes so far, pretty good. But I bough the Protein bars as I ma finding myself snackish at times as I have introduced a fitness routine as well. How disappointed I am at the taste of the bars. I’ve only tried one and can’t bring myself to eat any more! Going away shortly for a short family break and I need to stick to this whilst everyone else is enjoying ‘normal’ breakfasts and dinners but I can’t use the bars to keep it interesting! Such a shame ---

Glad you are loving so much of the Huel range, we would be doing pretty exceptionally if you loved every single flavour and product, but there is always room for improvement! ---

Hi Tim, Thanks for your response. On the subject of the bars - I simply found the taste unpleasant. The chocolate didn’t taste like chocolate and although mainly bland, it had an additional taste that was unpleasant. I can’t find the words to pinpoint it anymore - sorry. With regard to new flavours, what a question! Right now I could murder a bacon cheeseburger but I can’t imagine that being available! Beef (substitute) stir fry style would be nice, loaded with peppers, noodles or rice. My wife makes a lovely prawn and chorizo risotto which is simple and fantastic. BBQ pork flavour with rice, or a ribs flavour would also be lovely. Just some thoughts! ---

I went away to Center Parks last week and tried to keep to the Huel program without missing out on the family dinners etc, so the Protein bars would be very useful. So I persevered with them but I still find them quite vile. I’m not going to carry on, these will be consigned to the bin! ---

Have to be honest these are my least favourite Huel product. I bought a few selection boxes at launch and found them really bitter and not to my taste at all. In fact I still have half a box left and I usually get through bars pretty quickly! I quite enjoy the white bars (especially the peanut butter flavour!) but couldn’t get on with these flavour wise. Shame as they’re pretty good nutrition wise! ---

When you say at launch…do you mean the original ones? They were hard work. The newer ones are much nicer. People say 15 secs in the microwave helps but I’ve not tried that. ---

Nah sorry I meant launch of the complete protein bars! I didn’t try the earlier bars (apart from one that @ChristinaT sent me!) but liked the “new” white bars. ---
