Anyone know what the small red bits you see if you blend huel are?

Cheers for that. Doesn’t bother me, just weird that it appears so vivid from a brown powder!

Wonder why it’s added as doesn’t at first glance add anything to huel.

Research and potential health effects

A 2010 review concluded that research has been insufficient to establish whether lycopene consumption affects human health.[24] Lycopene has been studied in basic and clinical research for its potential effects on cardiovascular diseases and prostate cancer,[25][26][27] although results through 2017 have not changed the prevailing FDA view that evidence of benefit remains inconclusive.[23] A 2011 review showed insufficient evidence to support the use of lycopene for the prevention of prostate cancer.[26]

Huel contains added natural phytonutrients lutein and zeaxanthin - antioxidants that both have a role in eye health - as well as lycopene, a carotenoid associated with reducing the risk of some cancers and partly responsible for the red colour in tomatoes.

These are the culprits for your slight red and yellow flecks. Don’t worry, they’re adding significant benefits to your health!
