So tried the spicy korean ones and i have to say they are absolutely tasteless! The sauce i tried a bit of my finger before adding and it was fine but once mixed i even did it for 10 mins as opposed to 5 but the sauce just doesnt have a taste compared to a pot noodle or sobo noodles. i doubt it not having msg is the issue but yeah, i expect a sobo noodles type experience especially when paying £3 a pot, anyway il just stick to the powders and rtd as they dont let me down would be happy to try them again in future if you fancy sending me one for ab opinion but wont be buying until i know they are good. ---

Sure, opened the lid half way, added to sauce, added water to the fill line, closed the lid, put something on top of the lid, waited 10 mins (i like to leave longer), stirred to high heaven and then ate ---

Tried the Asian beef yesterday… And I don’t like to be a moaner, but this is the worst Huel product I’ve tried yet. The noodles are tasteless, and the broth just doesn’t cut it, just tasted like really watery Bovril. After enjoying the hot & savoury for so long, this was a real disappointment. Worth a go, I guess! ---

Understood, thank you for sharing that with us. When it comes to the flavour, if you decide to give it another try, I’d recommend using a little less water than the fill line. This creates a richer broth, which can make the flavour taste a little stronger. ---

Tried Asian Beef - came out ok - noodles weren’t perfect texture-wise but good enough. Tried the sauce when adding from squeezy packet and honestly it tasted great and balsamic (but really quite surprisingly sweet). But when diluted as part of the whole thing with broth, I felt it lacked the flavour punch I would have liked. I chucked in half the world’s supply of kikkomen soy sauce and it was better. But regular consumption would probably lead to a salty death. I did appreciate the veggies in there I think the difficulty with a product like this is that Ramen is either great because it is 1. extremely fresh and made with high quality ingredients by a chef or 2. massively processed, super salty and msg , chemical delicious from a pot or pack Which makes it tricky for huel to hit a sweet spot. Overall, I’d eat this occasionally, but wouldn’t want a box. ---
