My opinion is very much that any of a good thing is better than none. Yes, I believe it would be beneficial to have more (~10-15% of calories for all MCTs is a good target) but I still like that there’s some.
I certainly take the view that Huel’s level of customer engagement and kaizen (continuous improvement) sets them very far apart from their competitors in the UK market. I would hope that that leads to their being able to maintain a stable enough body of customers that they can pursue that path indefinitely.
I’ve not paid too much attention to financials, but it is interesting to see a (probably) £100m company seeking to stomp on them. Nevertheless, perhaps your question could be answered with a suggestion that if you commit to them, maybe they’ll be able to commit to you…
I would still stick to Huel too, and not switch if another company produced a cheaper product. I buy the best quality coffee too, and you might ask me, “How do you know it’s the best quality?”. That question can be asked of anything, even clothing items, but ‘trust’ and ‘faith’ is one half of it, and personal experience is the other. I had Joylent once for a month, and I got wind and heartburn (I also found it tasted very chalky). I am 100% healthy on Huel, and I’m grateful for that, and I wouldn’t jump ship to save a few pennies on each meal.
Yes Tim, that’s what I said too. We have faith and trust and great personal experience, and Most of us would not jump ship to save a few pennies on every meal. I certainly wouldn’t. It would not be worth it at all. Thanks for a sterling good product, and thanks for my robust good health
