There are other products in UK/EU that contain methylcobalamin, one is even an actual UK product so I don’t think it is a legal issue.
Mecobalamin is licenced for use in supplements in the EU but not food fortification. There are clear lists of what is allowed.
@IcyElemental Did you read these lists of what is allowed? I worry about the ‘complete foods’ products being shut down by governments, like it happened in Canada with Soylent, and would hate for your product falling prey to it too.
We are currently classed as a supplement as it brings certain benefits for us (including being permitted to include stuff like methylcobalamin). Once these benefits are no longer available we’ll switch.
