Ample: New American Meal Drink

Based in San Francisco, it looks like they’ve only just started, as they are still in the funding stage.

I like the motivation behind it. It’s not claiming to be a miracle pill and the founder even states that balanced, home-cooked meals are best for optimal nutrition. But that 25:25:50 ratio of proteins/carbs/fats is really odd. I also noticed it mixes whey with plant sources for protein in the same drink, which I’ve never seen done before. Still think that full plant protein is probably best overall for several reasons.

That’s similar to the face I make if I try to eat salmon or mackerel.
