Interesting article. The final sentence sums up where people invariably go wrong with regards to dieting. Reverting to old bad habits.
If people can adopt one meal replacement a day for a year, then there really is no reason why that cannot continue for life as by then it will be part of their eating routine.
As long as they’re not talking about Slimfast or Ensure or one of the other nasties. Anyone know what the Cambridge one consists of? I just read a wiki and
“The British Dietetic Association list the possible adverse side effects as including “bad breath, a dry mouth, tiredness, dizziness, insomnia, nausea and constipation”.”
I’d say Huel all the way!
Had to laugh there !!!
It came up with a notification
‘Website uses cookies’ … hoping they were very low calorie cookies ???
Oh yes, very funny!
Low fat, low carbs, high protein. Lost me already. BTW if you have the patience, you can delete all the tracking stuff after the actual link (everything after - and including - the question mark.) It amuses me to do that, just to foil the trackers
Yeah, I can never be arsed with that. I spend half my life shortening links in bit.ly.
Yeah exactly.
“Of course losing weight is good if you are overweight, but a large body of research indicates that the only way it will work is if using the programme as a means to future change, as a stepping stone to change eating habits for good.”
but a large body of research
Surely the wrong phrase to use ???
No worries I probably have more time on my hands than you do!
Perhaps, I imagine in the journal they have referenced this “large body of research” though.
I meant using the words ‘large body’
After a year on huel … the large body would be a much slimmer body ???
@Africorn spare a thought for people like me (a tracker) doing digital marketing and having to report on campaigns.
Ha ha, sorry for that!
