Thermic effect of high fibre in Huel

Has anyone else noticed they will lose more weight on calories from Huel compared to a standard lower fibre diets with similar protein carb fat macros.

Obviously you cannot argue with science, it is universally agreed that calorie deficit is what matters for losing weight.

I am just finding it strange that I am losing weight faster since switching to Huel.

The only thing I can think of is that there is a thermic effect of an extremely high fibre diet. The body demanding more energy to digest all of the fibre in Huel.

Anyone else finding this?

Are you definitely comparing the same number of calories? It’s close to impossible to accurately record calories, and for various reasons it’s very very easy to underestimate calories. Harder to do that with Huel though.
