First day on Huel for weight loss

Hi all,my first day of huel today, I am aiming for a 10kg weight loss.
Having huel for my breakfast, lunch and a healthy meal for my dinner,although some nights I may have another shake.
am aiming for 1000 calories on a day off/not doing anything just sitting on the sofa and 1200 calories at work, I mainly sit down and extra shakes if I exercise.

I am a vegetarian and have been struggling to get my protein in on a tight calorie restriction and I love the speed and simplicity of making a shake for breakfast, I work long days and it is nice not to have to pack so much food with me.
Does any other females on here use huel for weight loss?

I’m a guy but I’m using huel for weight loss and it’s going well.

You don’t mention your height but you may want to pop your details into a TDEE calculator as sedentary and then take 500 calories from that number to create a deficit which will allow you to lose weight at a healthy 1lb or so a week.

I’m not a professional dietician or nutritionally qualifies but my understanding is that for the vast majority of people the lower limits of calories are 1200 and 1500 for females and males respectively, so you may want to take a second look at your caloric intake.

Lots of people here have really turned their health and weight around using huel, even though that’s not really the primary purpose of it it’s still sooo conveniently bundled and I’ve seen some great results so far (lost over a stone).

I’m a guy but I lost 8 kg over lockdown.

I’ve been 100 percent Huel about half the time and one solid meal a day with the rest Huel the other half.

I was aiming for 2000 kcal on days I wasn’t exercising and after a while, that amount is easy most days.

Basically, it can be done!

How is it going so far? Your plan sounds good. Most females that aren’t too tall can get away with a 1000 calories a day. I’m also using Huel for weight loss and aim for 1200 calories a day. 1700 calories is maintenance for me because I’m only 164cm so a 500 calorie deficit is 1200 calories a day.

Did you calculate your TDEE? How do you plan your meals during the day?

Currently I structured my day like this:
09.00 1,5 scoops Huel Black with water and matcha and moringa powder
12.00 1,5 scoops Huel Black with water and pineapple FB
15.00 1,5 scoops Huel Black with water and peanut butter FB
18.00 1,5 scoops Huel Black with water and chocolate mint FB
