Sweet or savoury?

Do you prefer sweet or savoury, or do you feel that you “need” both, or do dislike both and consume only neutral stuff?
If something is neutral I think it doesn’t make satisfied, one does not register as much that there was a calorie input.
Savoury or salty makes a dry mouth, which is why I don’t want it.
I definitely like sweet taste, though. Which makes a shake-diet ideal. Sometimes I even put sweetener into something that most others find to sweet.

Friends and collegues often had to reintroduce normal meals because they missed savoury taste profiles, or wanted to chew something. I mean chewing can be done by having gum. But the taste seemed to be a problem for them. Those that didn’t mind the higher price and liked the taste of Huel hot meals made it to come back to 100% Huel, the other ones stopped shake meals altoghether or only have them for one to a maximum of two meals per day.

How is it for you? What are your preferences?

A salted peanut shake might work, I guess that would count as savoury.

Coffee has also some bitter component, but with sweetener it is balanced out, predominantly sweet. Coke is sweet. Those are my favourites.
I don’t like caramel though, don’t know why.

My impression is that men prefer savoury, and women sweet. Or do you have another opinion?

Not sure if this helps.

Gordon is a moron.
