I can see a total of 5 posts when having the forum in full screen, so much wasted space, even on old 1980s terminals I could see 25 posts per screen.

We’re updating this to make it more current. The old forum had become outdated, so this is part of a new initiative to refresh it and make better use of features that have been underutilised.
I get you, we’ve only made this first change along with a few colour changes to the categories etc so far, but we’re gradually working through the rest. Monzo is one example we’ve looked at in terms of how they operate their forum, so it’s something we’re aware of.
Not everyone will be happy with the changes if you’ve been here for a while, but once everything’s complete and refreshed, I’m hoping you’ll be able to see the benefits. We’ll be making gradual changes over the near future so bear with us and as always we’ll always listen feedback.

You should be top of the ‘most likes’ leaderboard too. You’re just as much a victim as the rest of us. 
I think Huel is the company equivalent of Donald Trump. They try to deflect from the fallout of the 3 day notice emails (Epstein files), by changing the forum layout (war on Iran) and hope everyone forgets about the former.

I don’t mind change but communicated change is better.
How about a sticky read only post telling us what we should see?
I spent some time yesterday going through all my settings trying to work out what I’d changed to make it so different.
But get your coffee in first 
40% of my screen is now just space with a white and black swoosh line on it. At least Dark Reader still works.
First step should be to turn off the preview text for threads. Have it display on hover if that’s an option.

+1 to this suggestion. Previewing a truncated part of a single post on a multi-post thread doesn’t do anything useful. It’s a useful feature on the SMS app on your phone, but not on forums.

Dark Mode - Please allow us to have black background with white text reading this in bed at night is really uncomfortable and too bright. My eyes!
