The REAL Reason It's called HUEL - According to YOU

Enjoyed reading this thread! I would love to know more from @Julian about how he named Huel. As you’ve said, I know the final 2 options were Huel or Hibble, but would love to know how it got to that.

No kidding? That’s awesome. Had a quick google, this site says it’s more like well, very much so, greatly. But still cool. Can you snap a picture of the section of the book it says this?!

Some people I’ve heard think it’s ‘Healthy Fuel’ - which might be better for you? I like Human Fuel, I think it highlights one of our key pillars ‘Nutrition first, taste second’.

Or perhaps just say it was named after a Breaking Bad character?!

yup the Nahuatl meaning is a vague(ish) translation but basically means fully, greatly etc as you say. I guess the closest English meaning would be like all encompassing I guess.

What, Huel White? After Walter Hartwell White.

why not just say ‘because that’s what they chose the name to be’ I prefer to say human fuel than ‘Huel’ not sure if it’s me but the word Huel does not slip off my tongue so well compared to ‘human fuel’

Perhaps it was a combination of the first two letters from the forenames of Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley.

Honestly I don’t care about the name. I don’t like it but one the other hand it is just such an unimportant feature to be bothered by it.
The only relevant thing is the product itself.

My errant husband insists on calling it Gruel…
