Hi. What is the content of huel black 1.2 and protein 2.0? Quantity of each acid. I think this used to be on website but can’t find now.
Dan has left the building
Cheers. Do you know who I can @ then?
They are all as useless as one another to be truthful. Try @Amy_Huel, and once she’s fully caffeinated she’ll maybe give you some time.
Hi @Amy_Huel, can you help please?
I’ve flagged this to her today just so it’s not missed and we can get some answers across
Sit tight, she’ll be in touch when she can!
I also manually inputted what I could find for complete protein 2.0 from the huel website a while back because the info wasn’t provided to cronometer.
Cheers. Am still hoping to get the answer from Huel too.
Hey! So we’re currently in the process of retesting our products for amino acid levels, and this is a rather long-term project, which is why you won’t see the levels on site at the moment. In the meantime, here are the most recent essential amino acid values for Black Edition and Complete Protein.
Black Edition v1.2 Vanilla (mg per 90g serve)
Tryptophan: 423
Threonine: 1386
Isoleucine: 1535
Leucine: 3055
Lysine: 2415
Methionine: 531
Phenylalanine: 2028
Valine: 1938
Histidine: 1174
Complete Protein v2.0 Vanilla (mg per 29g serve)
Tryptophan: 187
Threonine: 709
Isoleucine: 767
Leucine: 1614
Lysine: 1351
Methionine: 209
Phenylalanine: 998
Valine: 938
Histidine: 546
Thanks @Amy_Huel. Does the fact you’ve taken off website mean you think they could be significantly wrong? When do you think the new values will be available?
Thsnks. When do you anticipate these tests being completed?
Hi @Amy_Huel , @Mark_Huel . Can you answer my last question please? I’d like to be confident that huel is giving me a good ratio and quantity of the EAAs, and that it’s as good as alternatives in this respect.
Huel was definitely alot more transparent about EAAs in the past. I’m assuming it’s harder for them to track with the constant product changes and revamps.
We don’t have an exact date yet when the amino acid testing will be ready to share, but we should have more information later this year! The reason we removed it from the website is because we did not want to have out of date information up. We also use different suppliers for our proteins and these have slightly different amino acid profiles, so we want to make sure we’re providing the right information.
Thanks @Maddie_Huel. Might the values shared by Amy above be significantly wrong?
The values are unlikely to be significantly different from those I’ve shared.
