Hi, we are growers of Blackcurrants for Ribena ( so excellent quality) I’ve been adding frozen blackcurrants most mornings, via a nutri bullet, as there is no better antioxidant and a real Vit C boost. Which makes me ask the question - Why not a Blackcurrant Huel?
If there’s no better antioxidant, why not add them every day?
Don’t say that to Esther Rantzen; her teeth would rot in anger.
to avoid getting bored of them and keeping some variety I guess? much as I loved Ribena as a kid I cant recall having them in their natural state so wonder how tart the taste is?
You can have too much of a good thing !!!
As I discovered when I went on a “Health kick” and drank a pint of freshly squeezed orange juice everyday. Got to the point where I couldn’t walk down the stairs in the morning, then a friend told me that it was too acidic and dried joints out !
Haven’t had any adverse effects of Blackcurrants yet.
Poor Esther, maybe that would be good and she could have straight dentures !
Blackcurrants vary enormously, there are many varieties, Ribera use a blend and add lots of sugar but I add none ! I like it tart.
It’s a shame I retired my I like my Huel phrases last year.
