Brand New Chocolate Peanut Butter Ready To Drink! 🄜

Hey Folks!

Tomorrow (July 22nd) we’re going to be rolling out a very exciting new Black Edition RTD flavour, Chocolate Peanut Butter! We wanted to give subscribers some early access, so starting today, you can add a one-off bottle to a sub order to try. Just head to your account area! Some additional details below:

  • Available in both the UK and the US
  • Same nutritional profile as the other BE RTD flavours:
    • 35g of protein
    • 26 essential vitamins and minerals
    • Zero artificial sweeteners
  • Does not use peanuts, still has that rich, ā€œnuttyā€, chocolate/peanut butter taste
  • Early Access for subscribers starting right now! You can add a one-off bottle to a sub-order to try
  • Launching officially tomorrow, July 22nd

We hope you guys are as excited as we are about this, and we hope you all can give it a try. There has been a lot of conversation around peanut butter as a flavour in general, so hopefully this goes well and we can look at expanding it to… other products :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Any questions drop ā€˜em below!

This was posted about over a month ago on YouTube. Guessed someone’s finger was a bit trigger happy.

Tbh I said it wasn’t in the work fridge at that time so it wasn’t true…I wasn’t telling fibs.

I actually have a subscription order being processed at the moment, I guess that means it’s too late to get a bottle added.

Oh yes, will have to try this :face_savoring_food:

Quite - over here istr… :grimacing:

Are Black Edition RTDs not doing well in Germany? I see them in supermarkets like Rewe so I can’t help but wonder why Chocolate Peanut Butter and Cookies & Cream are not coming to EU nations. What prevents a release in Germany?

Thank you nonetheless - the new flavour sounds delicious. (And thanks for strawberry banana, which is my new favourite)

any idea when these will be on retail shelves?

So hopefully in the future these will come into German retail so watch this space!

We’ve seen that the current Black edition flavours are proving popular so we’ll keep you updated on any shift

We’ll always have a plan on when we’d like these to be in retail.

Little bit of a wait, but hopefully all being we will see these come into store around October time!

Just tried a bottle of this, it’s really nice. Probably my second favourite after cookies and cream. Funny, it reminds me of the original BSN Syntha 6 peanut butter

Is it peanut allergy safe?
Someone in my household has a serious peanut allergy.

Yeah. No peanuts involved

Our Chocolate Peanut Butter Black Edition RTD is completely peanut-free, despite the flavour name.

It’s made using natural flavours and contains no actual peanuts. However, it does contain Coconut.

I hope this will be available in Germany. I’m a big fan of the Chocolate version, so I will definitely try this once I’m allowed to.

Wow - I think you need to make this very clear!!
I’m not allergic to peanuts but I am allergic to various tree nuts.
My son has an anaphylactic allergy response to both peanuts and tree nuts.
There’s a lot of detail in this -
So saying ā€œdoesn’t contain peanutsā€ is potentially dangerously misleading.

Does the production of this affect any other ready to drink products or any other huel products by use of shared equipment et cetera, which may contaminate

@Mark_Huel
Can you please clarify the tree nut situation with this or any other of your products?
I just looked at the ingredients listed on the website - and for this peanut one there are no tree nuts listed as allergens and non listed in the ingredients
There is simply a statement ā€œ natural flavouringā€ peanut free.

Great question. Our Ready to drink contain coconut in various forms (Milk, Sugar and Medium-Chain Triglyceride powder). Although Coconut is technically not a nut, some people who are allergic to tree nuts (like almonds, cashews, and walnuts) are also allergic to coconut. But most are not - it isn’t black and white and everyone is different. The medium chain triglycerides (MCT) in Huel are derived from coconut, but are not ground coconut in its whole form. Aside from coconut (which isn’t technically a tree nut according to UK/EU classification), our RTDs are made at completely nut-free facilities

The only reason we don’t declare them ā€˜nut-free’ is because we don’t test every batch for nuts - this is something we’re only doing for Choc Peanut Butter for customer reassurance.

Ah, coconuts, the ā€˜nut’ that grows in a tree but is actually a fruit
