How long have you been on the creatine for? I used it for a while when I started strength training for climbing but the weight gain was noticeable. Still training hard now but it’s a dance with nutrition keeping the strength-to-weight ratio in check.

Probably around 3 years now, 5g a day.

It draws water into the muscles but obviously that’s harmless weight gain. If I stop the creatine intake I drop around 1.5kg.

Is the water consumption including Huel or do you drink that much on top?

On top usually. A litre of that is during gym time, 2.2 comes from my half gallon jug which I fill up every morning

Major struggles today. Lethargic, slow, tired. Cut is going to have to end soon as body is starting to go into super low energy mode. Big breakfast bap and a chicken burger later, followed by the same tomorrow to reinvigorate.

Hey you! How’s the cutting going?

Ello ello! So, there’s a saying… “Bulk until you hate your body, cut until you hate your life”. I definitely reached the latter and couldn’t take it anymore haha.

I did a family road trip to Manchester and Birmingham last weekend (a giant 3 day piss up basically) and realised what I was missing out on by being so stringent and fussy with my cut.

I’ve hit 79KG and have a nice bit of definition in my arms and chest, but I still have a little tiny belly. Upon asking around the more experienced guys at the gym, they all took one look and said it’ll need surgery to get rid of as it’s just leftover skin from when I was a fatty. :frowning: Pretty devastated, but I’ll live! Onwards and upwards now. Maintenance for a month and then a lean bulk of around 2800 cals
