7,846 steps total didnt do any exercise but am ok with it bc Iâm still feeling ill!
Other Observations:
Itâs always handy to have Huel in my bag & a Huel Bar in caseâwent out for lunch with a Friend today and instead ended up just getting coffee, so it was great I had my Huels ready and didnât have to spend money on not-great food I didnât actually feel like eating haha
I guess thatâs one thing Iâm taking away: Huel doesnât actually detract from life but instead adds more flexibility to it. I can go to back to back lectures in a hectic schedule; I can meet friends; I can plan life without having to worry about starving throughout the day due to circumstance and being so hungry I overeat after. Since Huel can give me consistent fuel throughout the day whenever I need it :))
@bowl aww thank you!! this means a lot to me, am glad youâve enjoyed it and felt inspired :â) (also yes sushi restaurants are incredible ahh)
@DunsfordMage hehe thanks!! yeah itâs crazy thinking back, and also seeing what you can do in just one year; Huelâs played such a big role in this journey! really cool how youâve been here from near the beginning too always grateful for the support
Lunchâ56g MochaFS Huel, 350g seafood, assorted leftover food before I travel
Snacksâweetos, a shit ton of mushrooms
Dinnerâleftover food

Going to be travelling this week; will probably live off Huel Bars as I did in Berlin!
edit: not actually live 100% on Huel Bars bc bad âŠinternal⊠explosions will probably happen; for lunch** (no space in luggage on Ryanair for Huel baggies and shakers & is more portable for hiking and exploring) HAHAH thanks @ChrisH0402
ALL SET
Story Time! TURNS OUT, my gal pal just tried Huel?!! âTastes like sawdust :â(â I got so excited when I heard she tried Huel LOL I immediately went into Huel-fangirl diagnostic mode
âhow did you make your Huel?â
âI did what the box said, put 3 scoops of Huel in and then wateââ
âAha, you gotta put the water first! did you drink it right away?â
âYeahâŠ?â
âAha, try sticking it in the fridge overnight!â
Sheâs gonna let me know how that goes, is it weird I am sO EXCITED for her Huel journey and to have more Huel buddies?
LOL HAHAHA all my friends were so shocked that Iâve been drinking Huel for lunch for the past year; Iâm surprised at how normal and part of routine itâs become :â)
Well, she has recorded her food intake here for an entire year. With a level of discipline like that I can imagine living of bars for a week is peanuts
Nope, every time someone sees me drinking my Huel they ask âwhy are you trying to lose weight?â
Iâm sure not trying to lose weight, in contrary, trying to gain some is even better for me.
Whenever this happens, I start explaining them about Huel as much as I can and realise I might
be a tad too much of an enthusiast when it comes to this.
Dinnerârice w tofu & quorn mince & stir fried asian style veggies

On holiday with friends now; glad to have my Huel bars with me bc they make me feel stable (mentally, like Iâm getting some decent balanced nutrition in at least and starting the day right)
But had measured portions of shared fried mars bars and calorific pulled pork, because when in Scotland, haggis amiright?
I like having this staple base of ~nutrition~, and still being able to explore local food as a treat (instead of for huge meals per se); makes it feel all the more valuable and truly appreciated as an anomaly.
Huelâs helping me save so much food money when travelling ahah gr8 stuff. Lowkey wish I brought my powder xD have you guys brought Huel overseas & on trips before? what was your experience like?
Enjoy your holiday and try not to think about the powder too much! Iâve taken the bars on most holidays and ended up not using them! Although I always always always feel like Iâm not 100% without Huel in my system, and the first one after I come back feels like Iâm switching something inside me back on
Weight: 47.4kg even with no bp and fully enjoying meals out & cooking with friends!
Food Intake: (~1584kcal in)
Lunchâ1 Huel Orange Bar, orzo pasta w vegetable curry, roasted veggies, 1 easy peeler
Snacksâ2 bars, 5 schoko linsen
Dinnerâ180g cottage cheese, tomatoes, cucumber w hummus, roasted veggies, risotto, sparkling lemon juice
Activity: (2507kcal out)
Baby hike (edit: not so baby hike; I was with tall Germans HAHA. Beautiful Pentlands!)
29,370 steps total
Other Observations:
The bars are honestly brilliantly portable for hikes. I also realised I love the whole eating-for-fuel thing, with special meals for occasions and enjoyment. Huelâs how-to-use-Huel, essentially.
I love having a higher TDEE omg makes each food item seem like a less significant %. Is this what being taller feels like (but also had to hike & walk my ass off for that calorie burn so lmao Iâm gonna have to be content with 1500-1750 :â)
Inspired by @ChrisH0402 and @anon52829317âs ideas, Iâm thinking of doing a (not so impressive) Huel challenge for my Hueliversary: eating 1500kcal+ worth of Huel Bars (~6-7) and seeing what happens, thoughts? XD or any Huel challenge suggestions?
A little suggestion, stay home if youâre actually doing this
Maybe consider a different kind of Huel challenge ?
Really think itâs a terribly inconvenient ideaâŠ
Btw, in one go or throughout the day ?
why am I always being mentioned in these kinda things ?!
