“Feed” (Huel Parody or..?)

That actually sounds pretty nice @hunzas I bet they were better than any you can buy.
I tend to opt for a handful of toasted nuts and seeds if I want a protein snack.

Oh yeah that too. My guilty pleasure is toasted pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds dry roasted with the hottest chilli sauce I can find, soy sauce and garlic powder. Probably healthier to eat them raw, but that’s not a guilty pleasure.

And here I am, eating my pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and cashews raw… I’m not a vegan :joy:

Lol anyone seen this Facebook advert?

A bit silly imho. Having more variety doesn’t mean your quality etc. is better. I like it that Huel doesn’t brand itself like a complete replacement of all your meals, but stressed the importance of eating a normal meal with your family as well. Don’t know if Feed does this of course. I don’t see it, as these sort of advertisements (direct comparison with a competitor, using name, logo,…) is forbidden in Belgium.

And don’t forget that with Huel U/U it is possible to make up any wild and wacky flavour you want - Marmite & dark chocolate :chocolate_bar: you’ve got it

Sounds divine. I see Marmite peanut butter is now a thing. I haven’t tried it cos I don’t buy Unilever products, but I did try my own variant peanut butter and Vecon yeast extract on toast and it was mighty fine. It may work in Huel too.

It was my attempt at a salted caramel flavour

I’ve used PB Fit Powder and shops own version of yeast extract to create the same. Got to say it was very tasty.

AH, yes, the PB powder was what I was thinking. I can imagine it may be quite good for a savoury fix. Maybe could use nutritional yeast flakes instead of PB powder for a cheesy yeast extract “cheese on toast” flavour Huel.

Yes - nice one.

The only reason any brands do this is because the science isn’t there yet on meal replacements genuinely being healthy/safe in long term use. They’d all promote 100% if they could.

If I see that ad, I’m going to have a mouthful to say about it. It’s absolutely meaningless.

Also, it falsely implies there’s only 2 varieties of Huel’s main product, the powder, when it’s more like 15-20 once you include all the flavours and sports/GF versions
