Has anyone found huel made them feel/be sick?

You created your thread on a Friday and 2 days later you’re complaining it hasn’t been responded to?

And as you’ve created your own thread, you’ve dug up a 4-year old thread for what purpose exactly?

Unless you work for Huel that post could interpreted as condescending or as I prefer to call it sad. Of course you could be a well meaning unpaid Huel expert but I’m getting the vibe you have no intention of assisting . There’s even a word for people that patrol forums with a sense of superiority can’t think of it so I will stick with.
I’m also aware that responding to your post is pushing me into saddo range. So have a nice day working out drinking Huel

Coup’s just making a good point or two:

If a [thread] has been inactive for 1 year or more please do not post in it.

Don’t cross-post the same thing in multiple topics.

plus, just in case, there’s this:

Please avoid:
Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content.

The ‘or two’ makes it totally unbelievable. Like Coup just found the Lost City of Atlantis, or two!

Forum Police here folks!

Let’s try not to joke around in this thread, especially something as serious as this.

I understand you’ve posted a separate thread, so please refrain from bringing the same issue here as we’re trying to avoid spamming the forum and want to keep the issue in one place.

This does go for everyone, please let’s keep the Forum a friendly place for all

Maybe if you responded correctly I wouldn’t have felt the need to . I was a Huel fan but I’ve no interest in being a player on a drink forum for goodness sake my original email was detailed and respectful I’ve had people taking the p**s

A dramatic title but true.

I’m going explain the issue in detail I can supply a wealth of photos It’s going to be fairly long but the references are important .

First my health generally . I had a severe stroke a few years ago. Told I would never walk I was able to work close with an expensive genius NueroTherapist He is a Special Forces NP , long story but I’m walking again still improving he taught me everything , not just the tough painful , physio but ingrained self NP , nutrients , mindfulfulness, despite being 60+I am remarkably fit

A year ago I was told I was diabeticsurprise I would never recover  we made a revamped dietary plan 8 months later I’m not diabetic at all ( I could supply the blood tests report to prove it) the dietary plan involved HUEL I didn’t rely on it but it most definitely contributed .

I’m even fitter now, feel better and have lost weight nothing stupid .

Last weekend purchased a full case of HUEL 8 ready to drink had a very good weekend . Correct eating I’ve been alcohol free for years

This Monday I woke up feeling very good . I eat a super breakfast about 11am , that’s even part of my ongoing plan, but I like the taste of Huel so took a sealed bottle out of the fridge poured a small amount in a cup had a couple of sips I was hit by a disgusting taste immediate felt nauseas , belching terrible aftertaste.

No my balance is sometimes compromised in the morning . I have specialist exercises for that I staggered into from room no other way to describe it which put me in danger of falling over.

I’m super trained I have a fresh distilled coconut water had some sips of that . In the end I surrendered and laid down . This morning I finally have started to feel better.

Now this was really pleasant I’ve been through worse but what really ****ed me of I was incapacited for a couple of days ( lost days) I knew it wasn’t fatal and knew how to deal with it.

That’s the shortened version trust me. I took a lot of photos and an even produce evidence of the last two years of my health through the NHS app .

The details might sound obsessive but that is a part of my continuing recovery

It hasn’t happened by laying around and feeling sorry for myself.

Think about it diabetic to non diabetic just by tweaking my diet is just a part of it .

I’m not looking for pats on the head or the like but losing three days has angered me.

I’m not a write an email to the council about the state of the bins type and another thing my income is much reduced and Huel is expensive.

I want this email to be read carefully and a swift response .

We take any reports of feeling ill seriously and this should follow the same steps.

I’ve sent you a DM to gain your email so I can look into this for you.

You can contact me on above emails . If you’ve lost the email or for some reason didn’t read my copy and paste on the forum I can do so again . Also took photos of the bottle even photos of the batch number. As I said in the email I’m not a serial complainer, I was area of my companies customer service team. It’s a tough gig. I assumed sending you a detailed, respectful email would be in some way replied to
Huels a big company I get that I’ve found it to be a refreshing drink that helped destroy my disabetes ( I can even send you my stats off my NHS page) and I doing really well in my Stroke Recovery. I could be a poster boy for Huel FFS.
But I was really ill for 3 days after I took that sip . I’m a tough bastard you have no idea what I’ve been through. Cmon let’s have a sensible response.
I want a resolution it’s quite simple. I’m not leaving this though
Philip McCarthy

This is another example of where your words do not match your actions. You posted your first thread on a Friday and then started complaining 2 days later you had not been responded to. When you worked in customer services did you work 7-days a week and reply to all enquiries instantly? These are not the actions of a non-serial complainer. You say you are a regular on forums yet you have shown multiple examples of bad forum etiquette such as digging up years old threads to continue your point despite having just created your own thread and now you’re using this thread instead of your original thread essentially giving you two threads plus the email you have sent to hammer home your message. When I challenged these behaviours initially instead of responding to them in the respectful way you claim to present yourself, you went on the attack essentially calling me sad.

It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it.

Yes I think you are a loser continually tagging me . I shouldn’t respond. I just use forums for info who my football team sign for example. I certainly don’t lurk on forums I know it’s a thing . Anyway dine out on you’re the boss of the Huel forums . It must impress when you’re up the pub or of course at the gym.

Hey guys.

This has gone completely off topic and not really suitable for the forum so i’m going to close this thread.

This is suppose to be a nice, supportive, informative place so lets try and get back to that please.
