How much water goes into your typical HUEL shake?

100g of Huel White and 430-450ml of water.

150ml water and 100ml almond milk one 40g of white banana huel and 70g of frozen blueberries in blender and into shaker and ready.

( 0.5 liter water per 100 grams - no addons )1,5 liter water bottle for 300 grams of Huel in a big blender. Gives two 0.75 liter shakes of 600 Kcal each. One for immediate drinking and the other for later.

I normally use 500 or just under but i blend night before, then top it up to about 600ml probably so it isnt as thick from sitting in fridge all night.

Generally between 400 and 500ml for a standard shaker.

However, if I’m making a smoothie for my partner and I, for the two of us I use:

  • 500ml water
  • 4 scoops of huel
  • 2 bananas
  • A handful of frozen berries (usually strawberry and raspberry)
  • Sometimes a tiny bit of peanut butter

So with that it only works out as 250ml water each, and with even more solids added to the mix, so it’s really thick but soooo tasty!

I like my huel shake a bit thicker and i use generally less water for big meals, because my large shaker has limited space for water and powder.

200 kcal = ~ 150 ml water
400 kcal = ~ 300 ml water
700 kcal = ~ 550 ml water

That is thick
