I am using the unflavoured version, it seems that previously there was less gum in that. Thanks to @gen for posting about it in other sections of this forum.
Based on volume (not grams), how much water do you guys put into each of your shakes?
With the new I have to put more than 5 times the water to Huel.
I’m not sure what amount of water the scoops hold for comparison. I have had to move up from 500ml to 650ml per three scoops to get it close to my previous V1.2 but it’s still thicker than I like, need to get a bigger shaker!
A few months ago, I have suggested to @Julian to provide us with 1.2 liter shakers, like Core150 or BlenderBottle Pro45, I think that would be a very good idea, for this v2 Huel!
I always use a Core150 shaker, and I’m very happy with it.
But it is generally a problem that I have to mix and drink such an enourmous amount to even get remotely calorie needs. Yesterday I was tired and down the whole day, because I only managed to ingest around a 1000 calories before dinner.
I’m also quite new to Huel, been using it for about 3 weeks I think. Mine is very lumpy, so I use a blender and that’s fine for me. Mine is also very thick, and I like that because it is very filling and satifying. A more runny mixture might quench thirst without quenching hunger, I think. I love the flavour of the vanilla and I feel much healthier since using Huel. I had been undereating because I’ve lost my apetite, but now all is good.
A blender does make a great difference, although I actually prefer it shaken rather than blended at the moment. I do use a blender if for example I decide to add peanut butter or a Nakd bar (rarely but an interesting and pleasant) change. I guess I like the little lumps.
