Just saw chocolate brownie RTD in Sainsbury’s. Is this a new flavour, or a replacement for regular chocolate? Or just a name change?
There was also a strawberry/banana black edition bottle, but can’t see it it on the website. Is that coming? Are there any other new flavours that my Sainsbury’s didn’t have?
Oi @Mark_Huel fill us in on the latest news. I remember when Huel cared about it’s forum users, now you just hang out with broscience wankers and Elongated Muskrat.
I have since tried them. I think I prefer regular chocolate to chocolate brownie, so hope no replacement is planned for later. Strawberry/banana was quite nice.
Hold the phone, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bars?!!? I completely missed this. No email, forum posts or buzz about it on the website for the Sainsbury’s release nor website launch. I’d have added a box to my recent order if I knew about it!
Didn’t know about these new RTD flavours either until seeing people’s posts on the forum. Odd for there to be no announcements unless I’m missing something?
Sadly, we don’t have plans to re-introduce our V2.0 flavours in certain regions.
We have done our very best to avoid this situation, but we’ve experienced a massive increase in demand, from our community and from retailers too, and we’re racing to keep up. Our v2.0 flavours are delicious, but unfortunately they aren’t as popular as our v1.0 range.
By delisting our v2.0 flavours in some regions it creates more space in our production line to keep on providing our most popular flavours.
They’re more interested in seeing how many ads they can get banned and posing with penis extensions than the customers.
They didn’t even bother to answer the question above about the new RTDs being sold online any time soon.
Probably won’t be that long before the company gets sold off, but you won’t read about that on the forum. I’ve got a spare fiver if someone wants to match it and we’ll send them an offer.
Yeah. Ive been consuming Huel for a long time. Pretty much daily and usually twice daily and I trusted it was a company with integrity. Then my first wake up call was when Julian supported Brexit and now all the other crappy stuff Huel does.
So…I wouldn’t be surprised to see something like that happen.
According to Wikipedia, citing the FT: ‘In November 2023, Huel’s CEO James McMaster said the company was open to a sale, and played down talk of floating the company on the stock market, citing poor market conditions in the UK.’
Well, it’s actually a profitable company now, after being in the red for about 8 years, so it’s not an unexpected scenario for someone to jump in I guess.
