Silicon Dioxide in Huel?

Hello Hueligans,

If someone could answer if Huel uses it?

Lots of powdered supplements do. But since I cannot find it in Huel label, and I think that´s not always mandatory to mention bellow certain limits, I would like a sure answer.

Thanks in advance.

I believe so. https://huel.com/pages/how-huel-and-the-huel-ingredients-are-produced

Thanks @hunzas but on the link is not mentioned. Hope @Tim_Huel or @Dan_Huel can answer.

Yes it is: “The particles enter the drying chamber and are mixed with silica (SiO2), an anti-caking agent. The hot air removes all moisture, leaving the powdered encapsulated MCT”

Sorry. Didn’t saw that, since related to MCT only. Was trying to get info on how much Silicon Dioxide remains in Huel final product. Because on the package other powdered foods refer its usage and Huel don’t.

Not to sound fatalist, but you can hardly get away from SiO2. Sand is coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

It is a reference, but one you’re too old to get.
