I was wondering if someone from the Huel team could please clarify what are the sources of L-cysteine in Huel. The majority of L-cysteine is obtained industrially by hydrolysis of animal materials, such as poultry feathers or hog hair, since the synthetically produced L-cysteine is more expensive.
The sources are, in order:
Pea protein
Rice protein
Oats
Flax
