More seriously, isn’t the production of bamboo fabrics somewhat problematic due to the chemicals that are used?
I’m slowly shifting to wool, merino in particular since it seems to have a lot of properties that I like (aside from not being vegan obviously). When I looked at bamboo last it just seemed bonkers that anyone thought it was sustainable or environmentally friendly.
Splinters not an issue, it’s the koalas trying to grab a snack that’s an issue.

I don’t think just more environmental, It’s a total greenwash in marketing. I can’t wear wool on my feet, toxic fumes. Even Marino ridiculously expensive ones. Sheep cause plenty of damage to countryside in Uk, every product has its issues. Sheepwrecked – George Monbiot
