Good point. When I stick to Huel, I save quite a bit on unnecessary and often unhealthy products I’m tempted to buy in the supermarket. And much less alcohol. So overall it’s even a little cheaper when I live on Huel. It’s more of a healthy lifestyle.
I really hope Huel will continue to provide a high quality product and I’m willing to pay a premium for that (within reason of course).
Yes - like the Promixx Vortex iX. I’m getting away for a week over Christmas so decided to get one of these to take with me. Out of curiosity I ordered a ShakeSphere at the same time both from Amazon.
They arrived today and initial thoughts are that the ShakeSphere absolutely isn’t worth the money. Even though its a good 80% more expensive than BlenderBottle Pro’s (which feel rock solid) it feels like its pretty cheap plastic and the sliding closure is not too convincing. If it were a free shaker given to new customers then it would be great - but at this price point - absolutely not.
The Promixx on the other hand appears to be incredibly well made, using Tritan like BlenderBottle. I went for the iXR model and its a good design generally. includes a powder storage container and fully recharges in 90 minutes from a laptop - less from the mains. Only possible Achilles Heal appears to be the blending ‘blade’ itself which is kind of like a thin plastic coat hangar. Not sure how robust that will prove to be but will report back after some extended usage.
