I had been taking Huel Greens every morning for about 2 months with no issues. Then I came down with that horrid stomach bug and was sick for over a week. Once I recovered (2 weeks) I took my greens and within 3 hours I was vomiting and sick for 12 hours. I waited a month and tried again last week. Again. 2 1/2 hours I was vomiting and diarrhea for several hours and sick for 24 hours eating saltines and Ginger Ale.
Does anyone have any clue as to what is in the greens that I can’t tolerate? I’m good with veggies and fiber, caffeine and I take a good multivitamin with every am on an empty stomach with no issues.
Since Huel Greens only launched today in the UK we haven’t yet been shitting through the eye of the needle. Hopefully my order will arrive in the next day or two and I will have the needles prepared by then.

I’ve been taking greens for about a week but today i took it the same as i always do and as instructed but have been been sick all day and unable to keep anything down. I dont know if it is because i had the greens on there own without having eaten anything before but i have been unable to keep down any food all day. I’m really disappointed as i really wanted it to work but im not sure I’ll be able to stomach it again without feeling sick following this. Any help appreciated.

Hi, I never puke, but this week about 1 hour after taking HDG, I violently puked up. Didn’t think it was HSG that caused it so I stupidly took some again this morning. 1 hour later I was screaming into the toilet bowl.
Hey, I had a similar experience: was taking Huel Daily Greens consistently for a couple of weeks with no issues. Then out of the blue, nausea and then pretty sudden, violent vomiting.
Thought it might have just been an off day, that maybe I didn’t drink it quickly enough or eat enough food, so tried it again a couple of days later with unfortunately the same result.
Yet my partner has been using the same batch with no issues.
I’ve had no other problems with any other Huel product. I have the A-Z vitamin drink daily - but not when I was trying the greens.
Unfortunately, very similar experience!! Was drinking HDG for a few days, then had terrible acute sickness & diarrhoea! Didn’t initially relate it to HDG, but stopped drinking it for a week as I was away for a few days.
Drank it again today, felt completely well beforehand, and almost identically to the first episode, have had chronic sickness and diarrhoea. On both occasions almost exactly 2 hours after drinking, very quick onset and very unpleasant, subsiding after about 24 hours!
Yes same issue today after taking it every few days for 2-3 weeks approximately.
Had stomach pains and bad wind each time then today feel extremely unwell, dizzy and nauseous then been sick a number of times.
Seen a lot of posts on Reddit about this and now here.
I have contacted Huel via email as stated below in replies.
Huel need to address this. If it has been happening in America before launching here in the UK why are there no warnings on the packaging? Just my opinion.
There’s something very … intriguing about the last three posts by brand-new members; the length, sentence structure and language relating to the claims made all seem rather similar…
My wife has now been violently ill on three occasions straight after drink Daily Greens. Was fine at first, after a couple of weeks was really sick. Didnt put it down to Huel until today when again straight after drinking Huel she has been non stop violently sick. She is feeling terrible. Contacted Huel on WhatsApp, no response yet. What the hell is in these drinks that causes people to be so sick?
Not sure the why but there does seem to be a thing where some people (maybe a small amount) have had a reaction to HDG. Fortunately they’ve re-formulated the product to hopefully remove/reduce such occurrences
A potent mix of concentrated nutrients? I guess some people have sensitive stomachs that can’t tolerate it without a gradual introduction. Try a little at a time until your system adjusts.
