Got a 1.7kg bag of powder a couple of weeks ago and have now made two shakes from it. The first was slightly banana flavoured so I drank it and shook my bag up to see if all the flavour was at the bottom of the bag. 2nd shake was equally lacking in flavour. Tastes nothing like the banana flavoured prepackaged bottles of Huel. The chocolate bag tastes fine. Any help on offer?
Is it possible there’s sometimes inconsistency in flavourings? I had some Banana Black recently which seemed less flavoured, but I thought maybe it was a deliberate change for the new formulation, or more likely it was my taste buds were off, but then the last lot I had was really good again, glad to say. The Salted Caramel was similar.
I wonder how much taste-testing goes on at the factory? That would be a great job. 
Is this your first time trying the powder?
The powders and Ready-to-drinks are different products, so they will never be exactly the same in either texture or taste. I personally find the powders to be a little more subtle in flavour compared to the RTD.
It can of course happen that certain batches may have an issue, although this is very rare as our quality controls are very thorough!
I’m sure the team would be happy for someone else to take over taste testing for a while
