Complete Protein as a Snack

I’ve really got to get my snacking under manners and would love to use the powder to suppliment my snacking habit.
I just can’t get my head around shaking up the snack, it’s the extra bottle I now have to wash to cover the snack. Maybe it’s just in my head and it’s not as much of a hassle as I seem to think it will be.

Can some people share their experiences of using CP as a snack replacement?

It’s no Biggie. I don’t have to refrigerate overnight and it shakes easily. So a minute shaking it, few minutes drinking and a minute to wash it.

I usually have 2 scoops in between my morning BE and my afternoon BE to hold me over. The macros are great and it keeps me feeling full until dinner.

Could you blend up 3 scoops, only consume 2/3 of it and leave the rest in the fridge? Not sure what your day-to-day schedule looks like, but perhaps that would work? I think shaking up 3 scoops might be a push, but blending and then pouring into the shaker might work better?

Tim, that’s a good idea about making it up in advance. Have you any thoughts on how long it will last in the fridge after making it up?

Usually vegan protein powders last longer than whey/casein; so I’d say up to 1-2 days in the fridge

So I was referring to making up 3 scoops of either v3.0 or Black Edition because it sounded like you cba with the extra bother of washing up an additional shaker. So with that in mind, your Huel would be best consumed no more than 24 hours in the fridge. However more is fine, might just start to taste less nice.

For Complete Protein we recommend consuming after 30-mins. So this wouldn’t work so well with CP!

That wouldn’t work for me either as I think I’d still want the snack :joy:

I often have a protein shake as a snack when I’m not too hungry but I don’t want to wait until the next meal to eat to avoid reaching that too hungry and eating too much!
