Haha. It’s the best greens I ever tasted. But then again there are some Huel products I think are grim that others love like strawberry and cream powder (RTD is good tho), coffee caramel powder and the sweet and sour hot meal.

I’m definitely getting an energy boost, but I started DG because I had a very bad mineral deficiency and needed something bioavailable for that. It works. OMG it works.

However, I made the mistake of drinking it before bedtime, and after an alcoholic drink besides. Took me forever to fall asleep. Part of that’s the alcohol, but surely some of that is the green coffee beans and acerola.

Does anyone know how much caffeine is in there? Probably not much, but I’d like to know.

it’s extremely low - they tested it (1 scoop or 15 grams) and it came back below the level of detection, meaning the lowest the lab can test (<0.005g) for caffeine.

Good to know. The insomnia was a combination of alcohol before bedtime and my body going WTF we have nutrition now?

Vitamins and minerals before sleep is a tricky one as some help and some disrupt. For example, vitamin B6 should be taken during the day - taken at night, it can interfere with sleep and cause vivid dreams whereas vitamin E has a neuroprotective effect so is best to take it in the evenings or at night. As this is an all in one product, probably best to take it in the morning rather than night.

FYI I usually have problems with ginger and ginseng, and so far no problems. Been drinking it every other day (was trying for 36 hour intervals).

For what it’s worth, I drink my daily greens just before bed, and I haven’t noticed any effect on my sleep. I make mine with 100ml of water not the recommended 250ml.
