No one has encouraged you to eat more than your maintenance caloric requirement, all they’ve done is comment with alarm at the statement.
I’m not going to back and fore argue, but please just heed the official NHS advice and as Venus says, take care.

I’ve never eaten and purged, I’ve never had bulimia. Please don’t throw that kind of talk around here as if it’s wrong or a choice sufferers of Eating Disorders make. There’s a number of people who struggle with that every single day as you can see from other threads.
