Does anyone feel dehydrated on Huel even with clear pee?

To be honest I think it’s more dry mouth than dehydration.

How much are you drinking with Huel? You should try to get in about 2L on top of the water you drink with Huel.

well I drink about 5 pints of water a day roughly. It could just be one of the ingredients giving me dry mouth. Anyone know any of the ingredients that could cause that?

I find I get quite a dry mouth while (and after) drinking Huel. I used to drink about 750ml of water alongside the Huel (not the water combined with the Huel - a completely separate drink) but I found I would then feel quite bloated and acidy (triggered GERD symptoms which I take medication for). So now I drink a bit less alongside (250ml) which leaves my mouth still feeling sub-optimal, but the rest of my stomach a little more comfortable.

Hmmm, I’ll try having a glass of water along with my Huel then and see if it helps reduce it. Will test at lunchtime!

I’m drinking a lot of water on Huel (big water drinker anyway), but since starting on it I am getting dry mouth in the mornings.

Just to chime in with my experience; I used to have a serious case of cotton mouth (considered going to the doctor’s with it, but I do not have a GP), but after starting to use Huel (on 50% currently) it has been improving. Perhaps this is related, after every Huel I drink I will have a sugarfree mint since I find the flavor a bit dull.

Sugar free mint/chewing gum is a good idea you know! Cheers!

I used to have this problem! I’d be drinking close to 5 litres a day to quench my thirst
It went away after a couple of weeks – I read somewhere that increasing your protein intake can make you thirsty, so it could be that your body’s adjusting to?
