Does vacuum sealing prolong shelf-life?

Hi there,

new Huel user. I’m primarily using it out of curiosity and because I have an unhealthy smoothie obsession that I’m trying to enhance, and add some variety to the whey/casein-based ones. So far, I like Huel.

However, I also have this obsesssion about disaster preparedness :wink: A nutritionally complete food source would be quite convenient. Now, I’ve started vacuum-sealing single use portions of Huel primarily for easier use and safer/more compact transport on travels; but I am wondering if that’d enhance the shelf-life too? Does anyone have a guess by how much?
