These popped up in my newsfeed today, could be new ways to flavour Huel: www.uncleroys.co.uk
Looks like an interesting site - thanks for that link!
Absolutely love the look of these. Such vintage branding, very on trend @Hunzas, clearly Glastonbury is rubbing off on you?!
Glastonbury - really can’t be beaten for its cool vibe and ambience. It was even in the Guardian this week: I will have you know: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/sep/16/bad-vibes-in-glastonbury-town-may-hire-security-firm-to-tackle-crime
VISIT GLASTONBURY - BRNG PROTECTION.
And in other news, this tattoo shop has just this week been opened at the top of the high street…even though we already have several others. Not bad for a town of 9000 pop.
Already causing controversy because of the mural. The subliminal swastikas on the right hand side have gone down especially well.
Oh lordy (I had to enlarge that to see what you meant…)
Do you mean the crosses? Oh dear.
Mmmmm, can’t wait to try out the natural leek essence. Yikes. And what on earth arthritis is the natural cheese essence made from if all the flavours are vegan?
Don’t know how the word arthritis got in there, but it seemed funny to me, so I’ve left it.
I did mean the crosses.
Leek - its similar to pee…I mean pea.
Cheese flavour - I emailed them and it is distilled from the old socks of Glastonbury hippies.
It’s the swastikas between the crosses (that weren’t obvious to me until I looked closer).
I ordered some! Maple, Butterscotch, Chocolate Orange and Hazelnut. I’ll let you know what they’re like when I get them.
I have some of the MyProtein flavours, but with the exception of the Raspberry (sweetened with Stevia), I’m not crazy about them. I think it’s the Sucralose
Ah yes, even so, it’s a bit of a stretch. People are so easily triggered these days. Anyone would think they wanted to be offended. :eye roll: The swastika was originally a very positive symbol until the Nazis got their hands on it anyway. A nasty bit of cultural appropriation that was.
The savoury ones could be great for savoury Huel. If anyone tries it out, please post your findings, ta very muchly.
I’ve tried the Uncle Roy’s Hazelnut, the Chocolate Orange and the Maple, and they’re all excellent. Butterscotch next! I wonder how they make the “natural flavours”?
The MyProtein flavdrops are too Sucralose-y for me. Except for the Raspberry with Stevia which is OK.
Excellent. I haven’t tried them myself…but am keen to.
The Butterscotch is good too! A little goes a long way
