Forum question and warning about loose goose aboot this hoose

I’ve just been made a regular on the forum and I’m not sure why.
It says Im a reliable contributor (I’m not an expert on huel and have never claimed to be)
I’ve been given strange new powers.

You can now recategorize and rename topics (I don’t feel comfortable doing that if it’s not my topic)
take advantage of more powerful spam flags(I thought all flags were taken seriously)
access a private lounge area(ok… don’t know what that means…)
and you’ll also get lots more likes per day. (I didn’t realise there was a limit so far I’ve never ran out)

I don’t really go on any other forums has someone got control on who be becomes a regular or is it just because I’ve been on for a while?

Must be automated.

Your profile says your a regular too? Also it’s 2:30am why are you (and me) looking on here?

This will be why you’re a ‘regular’

That’ll be why you’re a regular

And yes, it is automated. The badge of honour is given to anyone who spends a lot of time on the forum.

More ‘powerful’ spam flags just means if you flag a new users first post as spam (because they are advertising p*nis growth cream or a website for foot fetishes) then it won’t just become hidden, it will :boom: disappear into the ether. This may appeal to your superhero side.

Changing titles is a bad idea. You’ll get told off. We’ve all learned the hard way. (It’s fun though :joy:)

I wouldn’t bother with the lounge. We do have a very nice sofa courtesy of @Coup but @Ian42 leaves his pants and socks about and there’s always a weird smell…

Even worse, when I typed that I was out having a walk in the freezing cold. Cutting about in my hat and scarf, reading the Huel forum in the dark. What a life.

And now it’s 2 hours later and I’m still on here, but indoors.

I just tested it for science, on a title not a million miles away.

Just out of interest, which website is this…? Asking for a friend, obviously.

Ask @Ian42. This is his area of expertise.

The cream didn’t work sadly :sob: but Huel helped a bit but with this cold weather it’s hard to tell

As for the pants, I just thought if @ChristinaT is going to hang hers all over the place I will as well but I hadn’t realised she had washed hers as I hadn’t :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

It’s automated and thanks for being so active on the forum, it’s been great having you around! On discourse forums you become a ‘Regular’ when:

…in the last 100 days…

  • Must have visited at least 50% of days
  • Must have replied to at least 10 different topics
  • Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 25% (capped at 500)
  • Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 25% (capped at 20k)
  • Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes.*
  • Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
  • Must not have been suspended or silenced

* These likes must be across a minimum number of different users (1/5 the number), across a minimum number of different days (1/4 the number). Likes cannot be from PMs.

To get to 4 though it has to be done manually.

you eat Huel 3 times a day and your bowels settle down into a routine.

Thanks for the explanation. I thought maybe I had impressed you with my amazingness and in your infinite wisdom you had bestowed this great title upon me.

But no it’s as I suspected it’s because I’ve been on here too long.

If the forum hadn’t then I would have anyway. Thanks for sticking round.

Hi Hunzas, This has answered a question I have already posed - not on this forum though. I’m curious what a ‘routine’ means in a little more detail. Could you PM me, please?

I routinely ignore requests for PMs. Hope that helps.

No, it doesn’t! Not in the slightest.
