This might seem a silly question as I’m new and all!
Why is there a gluten free option? Is there a nutritional difference between the two? Thanks
Hi @Butcherboy the nutritional profile is identical. You only need the gluten free version if you are a diagnosed caeliac and the presence of small amounts of gluten will make you ill.
The regular Huel uses regular oats. The gluten free Huel uses gluten free oats and is tested and certified to be gluten free. The regular Huel is very low in gluten and is technically gluten free but cannot be certified as gluten free as it is not routinely tested for gluten.
Unless you have caeliac disease, just buy the regular Huel.
