How do you flavour your Unflavoured & Unsweetened Huel?

This morning I blended in banana whey protein powder, toffee flav drops and hot chocolate power.

This is a good one although there are a few alternatives on Amazon. I didn’t find it sweet enough for me on it’s own and not quite there with honey, so I add a teaspoon of sugar too.

I add frozen berries or whey protein powder. I find PhD Pharma Whey HT+ works best when mixed with Huel UU.

Mixed up my lunch and dinner in one batch:

  • 100g Huel Unflavoured
  • 90g Huel Black Vanilla
  • 1 cup Blueberries & Cherries
  • Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1.5 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Honey

Tasted really good with a nice little kick.

I blend in frozen berries and/or whey protein.
I use also coconut milk with UU without adding any other ingredients.

Does adding just some sweetener work in your opinion? Which one would you use?

I mix it with the flavoured huel, or make some homemade lazy soup with it. Like mixing it with miso, etc. It gives me the warm feeling needed.

Savory options
I make a recipe that tastes like a low/no sodium cup of noodle with a garlicy kick to it. Add a few dashes of Mrs.Dash’s Garlic and Herb salt-free seasoning. To add a bit of a spice to it you can add liquid aminos, coconut animos, soy sauce, or chicken/mushroom bullion seasoning/powder.

Lately I’ve been thinking about making an egg salad version with a tang of dijon mustard, paprika, and black salt which vegans use to add an egg flavor to it.

I love adding frozen greens like kale, spinach, ginger, or garlic

Other ideas would be anything Dan’Os seasonings or Mrs.Dash’s salt free options.
Other dish replicas Im thinking of: Loaded-no-tatoe soup, an umami no-rice porridge, french toast(using black salt to add egg flavor), tortilla soup, avocado soup, summer squash soup, tomatoe soup, butter chicken, tandori chicken,

Another savoury option I like:
UU with thyme & salt.

These sound super tasty!

Keep us posted on how it turns out!
