How much is a scoop?

Could anyone tell me how many grams is in a scoop?

Depends how tightly you pack it.

Roughly 38g.

Varies from 25 to 45 with me :stuck_out_tongue:
So I really use a small kitchen scale for it.

Does anyone else try and get perfect scoops of 38g while weighing it…?

I just use scales - the scoop only seems to be useful as a bit of a rough estimate really

I use scoop and digital scales. Put water in shaker, place shaker on scales and zero them, then add a couple of scoopfuls to shaker. Add or subtract small amounts of powder to get 76g.

I can’t help but wonder, you serious ?

Calorie counting

Yea, but I just weigh every scoop before it goes into the shaker x)

Less messy my way

Even when taking some back out ?
Seems more messy to me

Hardly a speck of powder is lost

I do exactly the same! The easiest way for me. I just measure 100g instead.

First I add 400ml of water and at the end I fill out up to 600ml, and to the fridge for the night.

Though, thinking about it, I’m usually putting in a blender.
But with a small kitchen scale and a 1,5L blender, it’s going to be pretty hard to read the weight x)

Whats with the specific 76g? Is it just 2x scoops assuming a scoop is 38g?

That’s why :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Pretty much. I have my daily calories pretty well mapped out daily whilst I’m in losing weight mode so I don’t trust to chance and weigh everything out. A scoop is just a rough measure really.

Interesting. I measure my ‘2 scoop’ portions at 66g to be 2/3 of 100g Huel! I just couldn’t work out what 76g was in relation to the Huel recommended portion sizes!:crazy_face:

I do 171g, which adds up to 688.5 kcal.
Just divide the kcal by grams and calculate it
