How to beat Cravings (IF)

In an attempt to finally start shedding my excess weight, I’m trying 16:8 IF and gradually replacing meals with Huel. At the moment I’m having Huel for lunch and then a normal meal for dinner.

My dilemma is this - around 10:30-11 in the morning I start craving savoury, solid foods instead of my usual 3 scoops of Huel.

Any suggestions on how to handle this?


Chewing gum can help the feeling of wanting to ‘bite down’ on something solid.

Get some salty chewing gum…even better.

Hi Samuel. Huel granola or bars can provide something to chew on. I have granola for breakfast, with a yoghurt or half Huel bar midmorning, then Huel shake for lunch and either another shake for dinner or a regular meal. I don’t tend to get cravings as I enjoy my daily food routine. I think/hope you will find things get better with time :grin:

If I’m craving something salty/savoury, I usually have a hot drink made with marmite. Admittedly this won’t appeal to everybody :smiley:
