I received my first shipment of Jake Vitaminbar’s today, the Jake competitor to the Huel and Twenny bars.
First impression: Smells strongly of those fake banana flavoured lollies
Second impression: Nice texture
Third impression: Feels super artificial. Based on the ingredients it seems not be, but it sure tastes like it IMO
Conclusion
Stick to Huel bars. They’re drier, not as strongly tasting and don’t have the nice chewy texture of the Jake bars, but you at last feel like you are eating food rather than a strange mixture of pure chemicals.
