Is he called Jasper cos he’s orange?
A friend of mine has a Maine Coone which he rescued after its owner was sent to prison for drug offences. It is a gentle giant; not sure why being a drug dealer he didn’t have a Staffie, as that often goes with the territory.

Aw Jasper is a lovely dog. My cat Dougal would love him and would want to play with him all the time. Whereas my other cat Dylan would run behind the couch even though he was raised with dogs as a kitten he is petrified.

My boy Buzz. Fell in love with him the first day I saw him and he’s been my best friend ever since. He lacks common sense and is a bit dopey but I wouldn’t change him or his amazing mane for the world 
!
