Hi there guys. I’m excited about the Huel Protein, I was wondering what is the bioavailability of this protein ? I know plant protein can be as bioavailable as animal but usually need some additional enzymes included in the mix. I was wondering if that is the case here.
Hey there, there’s no need to add enzymes to Complete Protein to increase the bioavailability as the PDCAAS is 1.0. This means the bioavailability, amount and quality of the essential amino acids is equal to animal proteins (you can check out more on what this means here).
