Huel Sainsbury's?

It’s for a couple of reasons. Firstly because of convenience. When I do the weekly shop online all in one. Also, I guess a small thing is I think it might add to the credibility of it as the meal replacement of choice rather than the retailers picking less alternatives. That might suggest it’s for some sort of legit reason. In all reality supermarkets sell a bunch of terrible brands awful for you so the credibility thing doesn’t actually hold water at all.

Id rather buy from supermarket as wouldnt have buy two packs like i have to online

You’d rather pay £35 for one bag in the supermarket over £45 for two bags on a subscription online?

We don’t have any plans to release our Powders into supermarkets, we can’t see it being a better experience - how would you get the free shaker, free t-shirt, booklet, or scoop. And as Phil suggests, the cost of one pouch in a supermarket wouldn’t be the cost for two online divided by two. The supermarket would always take a hefty cut.

However, we totally hear your request for sampling Huel more easily. We have a few things in the pipeline to be released soon which will help with this.

Who said they would be £35 per bag in the shop?

extrapolating the same markup and costs percentages currently applied to RTD’s by retailers onto the one off purchase price of a bag online.

large retailers typically mark up their costs based on volumes sold and type/manufacturing costs of products. high volume/low cost product sales, their markup will be an average of 13% medium to low volume/higher value it averages out at 27%. Canned goods and households can be 50% or more.

The advantage for me for buying from a supermarket rather than online, is that I wouldn’t have to worry about the package going missing from my doorstep. I usually try to place my order to arrive Friday or Saturday when I’m not at work all day.

That absolutely sucks. Have you thought about cameras? Or requested a more discrete ‘safe place’ to leave it with DPD?

Failing all that perhaps investigate this?

you can also get lockable parcel drop boxes for your home too - at a couple of hundred quid - they’re not exactly cheap so I guess it would depend on how frequently you are losing deliveries.

Fortunately I haven’t ever lost a parcel, but because my doorstep is clearly visible to passers by, I just worry that it might happen. I certainly don’t have the money for security features such as cameras and boxes. I don’t even have WiFi at home, just use data through my phone, so one of these fancy cameras would have nothing to connect to when I was at work anyway, and it would be pointless to connect it to my phone’s connection when I was home! I do, however, have security in the form of two dogs, which is probably why I don’t have money left over for anything else!! But I know which I prefer :heart_eyes:20210912_125944|375x500
