I.m.8

Has anyone looked into having IM8 in addition to Huel? I’m 59 & considering it but think I might be doubling up on vitamins, etc & hence wasting money. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Not something I’ve tried personally, nor do I have much data around it!

Lemme do some digging and come back to you.

Looking into this, it seems like comparing them is hard as they are very different products.

Huel products are designed to be nutritionally complete, meaning they already include all the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs in balanced amounts (roughly 100% of daily recommended intake per 2,000 kcal). So if you add something like IM8 on top, you’re likely to double up on a lot of the same nutrients, especially the vitamins and minerals, which probably won’t harm you short-term, but can be unnecessary and sometimes expensive.

IM8’s more of a supplement than a meal, so if you’re using both, check the labels; you might already be getting plenty of the same vitamins from Huel.

Happy to answer any specific questions or points you’d like to know to help further

This is perfect, Mark - thanks so much!

They have a “Longevity” formula especially for aging, IM8 Daily Ultimate Longevity: Advanced Support for Healthy Aging – IM8 Health, which can be taken with their Essentials formula that you’ve looked at. Presumably taking this to supplement my Huel won’t be doubling up on ingredients?

Thanks again for doing my homework for me!
